WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Individuals attending this session are involved in one or more of the following areas:
  • Faculty members who are interested in helping their students’ understanding of the material.

  • Faculty assigned to manage technical staff or a combination of technical and non-technical staff

  • Anyone who interacts with students, technical staff, management or vendors and wants to improve the interpersonal skills necessary to communicate their knowledge to those around them.

 


WHAT THE SESSION PROVIDES

Participants will learn why communication challenges often exist between technical and non-technical individuals and how they can adapt their behavioral styles to improve interactions with one another to gain efficiencies and results.  The session provides the opportunity for a participant to learn about oneself, others and the importance of communication and interpersonal relationships in achieving results and advancing their career.
